Still from film Ogen Blik (pose), 2025, digital
ogen blik is a 9-minute fiction film about the urge to pose, how we respond to being photographed and how we relate to the image that remains. Our fascination with our own face creates a complicated relationship with the camera. The camera captures us and we are aware of this now more than ever before. So much that we adjust ourselves to it. What is it that makes us want to control how we appear in photographs? And explores the question that started this film: to whom are we smiling?
